vivo has announced a new edition of their NEX, the vivo NEX Dual Display Edition where as you can tell by the name, offers a dual-screen design that gives a multifaceted smartphone experience. —

The vivo NEX Dual Display Edition comes with a 6.39-inch Ultra FullView Display at the front that comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.36%. Its front sports a Super AMOLED display, offering a notch-free and immersive viewing experience.

Since it’s offering two displays, the back offers a 5.49-inch display that also comes with Super AMOLED. At the back of the phone, there’s a new Luna Ring, which can glow colors that can notify you of your notifications and even pulse with music.

It comes with a triple camera setup which consists of 12MP IMX363 sensor and 4-axis OIS, a specialized Night Video Camera, and a Time of Flight (TOF) 3D Camera.

Other than that, it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 10GB RAM that’s paired with 128GB of internal storage, an in-display fingerprint sensor, as well as facial recognition. Under the hood is a 3500mAh battery.

Though there’s no official Malaysian pricing yet, the vivo NEX Dual Display Edition will be going on sale in China from December 29 at the price of 4,998 Yuan, which is around RM3,036

Pokdepinion: Well that’s something new. Then again, I’m not surprised that they’ve made something like this. After all, they did innovate the smartphone scene with the introduction of the vivo NEX with its pop-up camera.
