With the contest, it marks the 2nd part of the company’s Visual Creator campaign where they are inviting Malaysians to express themselves and become visual creators. You’ll find the contest available starting from today, the 8th of April until the 25th of April 2021 where it will feature a panel of judges representing both vivo Malaysia and MIFFest.

Xiamen University Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) and New Era University College will be co-steering the competition.

If you are interested in participating in the contest, you can follow these steps:

  1. Film a 5-minute short video using your vivo smartphone in line with the theme “Humanity”
  2. Send your short film to [email protected] and fill in your personal information (name, contact information, video story concept)

As you can see from above, the video must be captured by a vivo smartphone and the content must be produced after 8th April 2021. This means that old videos aren’t eligible for the contest. All of the winners will be announced on the 3rd of May 2021, where you stand a chance in winning prizes worth more than RM15,000, including a brand new vivo X60 Pro and a certificate of participation.

Previously they’ve revealed their short film, The Incident, which was taken fully with the X60 Pro. Read more on that by heading to the link right here. For the latest tech and gaming news plus reviews, stay tuned to Pokde.net.
