Vivo Malaysia teases the upcoming Vivo V5 Plus — the company’s first dual-front camera
At the end of the launch event of Vivo V5, the company has teased us about the upcoming Vivo V5 Plus. An upgraded version of the Vivo V5, it is set to be the company’s first smartphone to features dual-front camera. The main highlight of the phone is the dual-front camera, while much of the specifications remains unknown.
There is not much detail about the smartphone right now but rumors point to the Vivo V5 Plus packing similar specifications as the V5. The Vivo V5 Plus is said to equipped with the same processor, the MediaTek MT6750, an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. It will be paired with 4GB of RAM and for the storage it comes with 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
It will also pack a better IPS display with a Full HD resolution as well as a bigger battery capacity at 3300mAh. It also will be using the Funtouch OS 2.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Audio wise it will pack the same custom Hi-Fi audio chip the AK4376 for immersive audio experience. There’s no information when the phone will be available in the market but rumors mentioned that it will be coming at the end of this year.
