The notch trend isn’t the only thing that they’ve opted out with, but get this, everything. Yeah, you read that correctly, it wont come with a power button or volume rockers, no charging port, or even a SIM/microSD tray. You would probably notice that the phone doesn’t even have a front camera, a feature that selfie-lovers would probably want.
Thanks to the design, it is probably safe to say that the phone will come with an under-display fingerprint sensor, which they’ve implemented in their previous devices. Wireless charging is on hand to counter that lack of USB port on the phone.
It can also mean that the APEX 2019 will have to rely on an eSIM to support a wireless carrier.
The phone is said to be coming soon, so we probably won’t have to wait long to learn more on the device.
If you’ve followed last year’s APEX concept, it was showcased to feature a pop-up selfie camera, which later became the Vivo NEX.
Pokdepinion: I understand that they want to be unique… but why would they take out the SIM/microSD tray and USB port. That’s all that is making me curious right now.
