You Can Now Backup Your WhatsApp Chat Logs Via HUAWEI Mobile Cloud

WhatsApp is one of the most used messaging apps around and the folks at HUAWEI has just revealed that you can now backup chat logs of the app through the HUAWEI Mobile Cloud.

If you didn’t know, the HUAWEI Mobile Cloud can also be a platform that you can store and backup other apps such as WeChat, Telegram, Facebook, Facebook Messenger and more. Your chat history will automatically restore when you login to your HUAWEI ID account.

With the backup, you can preserve your other media files including photos, videos, and documents. Data can also be automatically synchronize across all HUAWEI devices.

So if you are interested in using the service, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to Setting > tap on your HUAWEI ID (register if you haven’t already)
2. Select Cloud > Enable Cloud Backup
3. Select Back-up Options and go to App Data
4. Enable WhatsApp and you have successfully restored your chat logs and files
