It offers QXGA Display, providing clarity and bright color on the 9.7-inch IPS touch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 resolutions at 264 pixels per inch. Being a tablet, makes it convenient and suitable to move around (well just make sure that you still stay in class!).

The tablet weighs in at only 1.21 pounds (which is 550g), making it of no hassle to carry around. Camera wise, it has a front 2MP HD webcam camera and a 5MP rear camera.

Since it’s aimed for educational purposes, it comes with a Wacom EMR stylus so that students can never use that excuse of not bringing their pens to class. The stylus is embedded in the chassis dock for a secured storage. Good thing is, the stylus doesn’t require a battery and is resistant to accidental drops.

As for battery, it provides battery life of up to 9 hours, which is more than enough to get through those classes. The tablet is powered by an OP1 Processor that integrates dual-core Cortex-A72 and quad-core Cortex-A53 processors. It also comes with 4GB RAM, paired with 32GB of internal storage.

The Chromebook Tab 10 includes a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 port, which can be used to charge the device as well as other products, transfer data up to 5Gbps, as well as connect to a HD display. Not forgetting, it also features a combo of headphone/speaker jack and a microSD card reader.

It was announced that Acer has plans to bring in support for Augmented Reality (AR) for the tablet in the future, bringing in new ways for students to learn with Expeditions AR.

The Acer Chromebook Tab 10 will be available to education and commercial customers in North America in April with prices starting from US$321(RM1270.42).

Pokdepinion: Looks decent enough. Just hope that whoever uses it will use it for education and not something else!
