LG Electronics is bringing in the technology of tomorrow with the introduction of the world’s first rollable OLED TV in the form of the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R (65R9) at CES 2019.

In an effort to make large TVs to be less conspicuous, manufacturers have been on a race to create even slimmer screens and to be unobtrusive as they can.

With that in mind, LG has stipped away the traditional concept of a TV, the brand has created a TV that, with the simple press of a button, appear and disappear.

The LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R can transform itself in three different viewing options; Full View, Line View, and Zero View, enabling you to use the TV in ways that was thought impossible before.

Its AI picture and sound quality is powered by LG’s second generation Alpha 9 intelligent processor and deep learning algorithm. You can use your voice to get things done through Amazon Alexa, a new addition to LG’s AI TV lineup in 2019.

There’s also support for Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit, where you can play videos from iTunes and other video apps, music, photos and directly from your Apple devices. HomeKit also allows you to control your LG TV using the Home app or by asking Siri.

Line View allows the OLED TV R to be partially unrolled, allowing for management of specific tasks that don’t require the full TV screen. From the mode, you can choose from features such as Clock, Frame, Mood, Music, and Home Dashboard.

While on Zero View, the TV is hidden away but you can still enjoy music and other audio content from the 4.2-channel, 100W front-firing Dolby Atmos audio system.

Pokdepinion: I sure would love to have this in front of my bed! I don’t think that it will come at a cheap though.
