New HUAWEI Smart TV Reportedly Coming Soon
As we’ve reported earlier, HUAWEI recently held the global launch of the P40 series of smartphones last week. Now, the company is looking to move to their next big product category launch; Smart TV.
We have a teaser for the upcoming HUAWEI Smart TV, which we’ve included at the top of this post. It is expected to be launched on 8th April 2020, but not much other details are available at this point in time.
From what we can see thus far, it seems that it will have a similar pop-up module as seen on the HONOR Smart TV. This could either be a camera module, a soundbar, or a mixture of both considering its rectangular size. The bezels are also relatively thin on the TV.
Possible New HUAWEI Smart TV Feature
Previously, the HUAWEI Smart Screen V65 HONOR Edition was released, which uses a 65-inch 4K quantum dot screen with built-in AI camera which allows for AI modeling. Given that the upcoming HUAWEI Smart TV seems to sport a larger pop-up device, we expect there to be more features included.
Apart from that, HUAWEI is gearing up for the MatePad Pro launch in Malaysia as well as the Mate Xs in India. The HUAWEI MatePad Pro itself is already out but it’s still taking a bit of time to be released outside of China. The Mate Xs on the other hand will be the company’s first foldable to be sold in India.
It’s worth noting that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the planned launch dates may end up changing. We will be reporting more on that if any information comes up so stay tuned.
Pokdepinion: I really hope they bring their line of TVs here in Malaysia. I know it can do well, especially knowing how the company is willing to offer competitive prices here for their other products.
