Olike Malaysia introduces Weloop Neo Pro Fitness — does more than track your runs and heart rate

There is a slew of fitness wearables out there, the cheapest I have seen priced at around RM129, all the way to the smartwatches. To qualify as a fitness wearable, all of them are capable of tracking your steps. But even smartphones like those from HUAWEI are capable of doing that. To make sure that the new Weloop Neo Pro Fitness is worthy of your wrists, it features a unique Strength Mode, allowing it to track your workout in the gym.

Few fitness-oriented bands I know can do this. Most of them are capable of tracking swimming, jogging, and cycling, but most of them can’t track your weight training routine. Olike claims that the Weloop Neo Pro Fitness can track your arm, chest, back, shoulders, abs and legs workout routine to help you achieve your individual goals. I do not know how they go about it, but we would love to give it a go.

Aside from that, you also get built-in GPS + GLONASS for more precise route tracking. The usual heart rate monitor, 3 ATM waterproofing, smart notifications and sports mode tracking are all available as well on the Weloop Neo Pro Fitness. To make charging more convenient, the Weloop Neo Pro  Fitness features a USB connector for easy charging without adapters. You will only need to charge once every 15 days, according to Olike.

Connecting to the Weloop app available on the Google Play Store and Apple store allows you to track your progress, share your progress with your friends and set individual targets to motivate yourself, with achievement badges for milestones. It also lets you set up the Weloop Neo Pro Fitness for notifications.

The Weloop Neo Pro Fitness is available starting today, priced at RM399. It will be avaialble from Olike Concept Stores, Olike Authorized Dealers, OPPO Concept Stores and OPPO’s official online stores on Lazada, 11street and Shopee.

Pokdepinion: It does seems like an interesting smartband, but the fact that you need to remove the module from the band to charge it seems like a bad idea, especially if a replacement band is going to be pricey.
