Assassin’s Creed Odyssey New Missions and More Coming for Free This November

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is Ubisoft’s latest big game release and it looks like they’re nowhere close to being done in terms of supporting the game. A brand new update is coming to the game which contains some new missions and more, for free.

In a video that was published recently, developers from the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey team discussed about some new content that will be making its way into Assassin’s Creed Odyssey coming this November. For starters, a new series of quests and events will begin which will give you a chance to interact with more characters in Ancient Greece. One new quest in particular called “The Show Must Go On” finds your own version of Kassandra or Alexios filling the role of an actor and re-enacting the Battle of 300 in a play.

Also hitting Assassin’s Creed Odyssey this month will be new Epic mercenaries and Epic ships to hunt down. Taking down these foes will yield valuable items like new equipment and updated ship models. A new underworld set of gears have already found its way into the game with a new set of equipment, new ship design, new mount, and new weapons all arriving later in November.

One of the more noteworthy additions that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be receiving on 13th November 2018 is a battle against the mythical Cyclops. It will be available to fight in a new mission that will be added to your quest log. It is said that taking down the Cyclops will yield a very interesting item.

As for other broad changes coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Ubisoft will also be boosting the level cap by a big amount. The current level cap is locked at 50 but after the new update, it will be increased to level 70. For players who have already hit level 50 will have all of the EXP that they’ve gained since hitting the cap carry over to their character once the level cap is increased.

Furthermore, players will now also be able to customize their gear more to their tastes via a new system that will be rolled out soon. Lastly, the costs to upgrade items are being nerfed, based on fan feedback.

As someone who has been personally disappointed with the series before, this entry has rekindled my love for the series and I’ve continued enjoying every moment of it. The review of the game will be up very soon.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via UPlay.

Pokdepinion: Hooray, more new stuff for me to enjoy in the game for free. Guess I’ll be stuck here for a while after Soul Calibur VI.
