Bandai Namco managed to sell over 25.5 million copies of their games in their past fiscal year.

Creating videogames can be very costly. From the initial stages of conceptualization all the way to the marketing after the game has completed, it costs a lot of money. Therefore, if a game can’t sell well, it can even spell doom for the company.

Bandai Namco has had solid offerings for a while now and it seems like the results have finally shown. We have received data on their sales for the past fiscal year, and it’s looking pretty good for the company.

What’s interesting here from the data is the result of the Network Entertainment business, with Network content getting the biggest share of sales, followed by home video games. The forecast for the current fiscal year shows the expectation that similar results will repeat.

According to DualShockers, Bandai Namco has shipped 4.077 million copies of its games in Japan between April 1st, 2016 and March 31st, 2017. 10.516 million copies were shipped in the Americas, and 10.933 million units were shopped in Europe, for a total of 25.526 million copies shipped worldwide, across 65 games.

The company predicts to ship 65 games between April 1st, 2017 and March 31st, 2018, and the forecast for copies shipped is 24.4 million units.

Pokdepinion: No matter how you look at it, this is some pretty solid numbers from Bandai Namco. I’m a big fan of the publisher and I hope things will continue to be spectacular for them.
