The folks over at Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the special edition Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Here’s what you’re getting.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore has officially announced the special edition of the upcoming J-RPG by Square Enix, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.

The special edition, also known as the Edition of Lost Time, will come with the following goodies:

  • Companion Compendium – a 128-page hardback art book featuring concept art and famed artist Akira Toriyama’s early designs
  • Symphonic Suite – a 2-disc set featuring orchestrated versions of in-game music
  • The Map of Erdrea – a 20”x15” cloth map
  • A collectible Steelbook® case
  • Bonus Digital content – including Pep Pop, a drink that immediately peps up all active allies, and 15 further Seeds of Skill, which confer players extra skill points.

Additionally, there will be some extras for those who pre-order Dragon Quest XI:

Edition of Lost Time pre-order premium at select retail:

  • “Dragon Quest XI” Neck Strap
  • The Legend Reborn Theme” PlayStation®4 Custom Theme

Standard Edition Disc pre-order premium at select retail:

  • “Dragon Quest XI” Neck Strap
  • The Legend Reborn Theme” PlayStation®4 Custom Theme
  • In-game DLC items (Elevating Vest and 3 Seeds of Skill)

PlayStation Store pre-order bonus items:

The standard edition will be retailing for RM209 while the digital edition will be priced at RM199. The Edition of Lost Time will be priced at a whopping RM729.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on 4th September 2018, with a Nintendo Switch release coming sometime later this year.

Pokdepinion: Not gonna lie, it is attractive but the idea of spending RM729 is hard for me to swallow. If you’re a big fan of the series, it’s gonna be pretty worth it.
