Acer Predator Charity Challenge Aims to Raise Up To RM15,000 for the Underprivileged During MCO

As we are currently in the 3rd phase of the Movement Control Order (MCO), some organizations have banded together to help the marginalized communities whose situations have become increasingly dire. To help the situation, Acer Malaysia is launching the Predator Charity Challenge.

The Predator Charity Challenge will have up to RM15,000 total cash prize pool which will be donated to Pit Stop Community Cafe. The cafe reaches out to marginalized communities through food and services with the goal of reintegrating them back into society. Apart from that, they also rescue and repurpose food that would have gone to waste and provide a platform for people to do volunteer work.

It will be running for three days from 24th April to 26th April 2020. The Predator Charity Challenge will see well-known local livestreamers such as Master Ramen, Chiko, and Daddyhood as they compete in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) for all three days to raise funds for the underprivileged. For every kill, Acer Malaysia will be donation RM20 but with every win / Chicken Dinner, the donation will be increased to RM500.

Acer Malaysia invites the public to join in the challenge to help the underprivileged. For every viewer tuning into the livestream during peak live views, RM1 will be donated to the cause up to a maximum of RM2,000 per day. This is done in part with Acer’s other efforts previously to help support the frontliners in healthcare.
