The new Sunblade Samurai card is an enchantment creature card which means that the rules for both enchantment cards and creature cards apply here. It is also a Channel card which means that the card must be discarded once the player has used the card’s ability.

The card has the Vigilance ability. The ability allows players to search their library for a basic Plains card which they must then reveal and place into their cards hand. Once the player has done that, the player must shuffle their deck and gain 2 life. Since the card is an aforementioned Channel card, it must be discarded.

The new Sunblade Samurai card can be found in either Draft Boosters or Set Boosters for the regular frame version. The alternate Samurai frame version, on the other hand, can be found in Draft Boosters, Set Boosters or Collector Boosters. The card features fantastic art from artists Aaron Miller and Shirai Hidemi. You can check out other artworks from either artist down below:

Magic: The Gathering’s new expansion, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty is set to release worldwide on the 18th of February.

Thank you Wizards for providing us with the wonderful opportunity to preview the new Sunblade Samurai card.

Pokdepinion: I’m really liking the new elements the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty expansion is bringing to the table. Loving the new aesthetic variations they’re bringing to the cards as well.
