Aside from the TECS tournament, the company has more plans for the the local Esports scene. They are also looking to partner with The Pantheon Group to open an Esports Centre in Penang. The plan is to eventually expand the Centre’s presence nationwide and in Southeast Asia. This will include long-term plans such as developing educational and training programmes for aspiring gamers and provide coaching opportunities to local and international professional gamers.

In Southeast Asia, there is said to be roughly 9.5 million Esports enthusiasts, with there being roughly 2.4 million in Malaysia alone. Furthermore, Malaysia is ranked number 21 in global game revenue estimates for 2018 at USD $633 million (RM2.6 billion). With Southeast Asia being the fastest growing market for competitive gaming, such developments like with Phidisk and Pantheon is to be expected if the country wants to keep the momentum going.
