Razer Announced as Official Esports Partner for Gamescom Asia 2020

With the signing of a memorandum of understanding, Razer has been officially announced as the Esports partner and advisory committee member for Gamescom Asia 2020.

As a result, Razer will be working with Koelnmesse, the organizer for Gamescom Asia 2020, to organize and curate the Esports and gaming zone for the event. For those of you who aren’t aware, Gamescom Asia 2020 is the Asian spin-off of the global gaming expo, Gamescom, which is typically held in Cologne, Germany every year.

The Asian Edition is expecting to have over 30,000 trade and public visitors, and will serve as the regional and international platform for game industry members including publishers, developers, stakeholders and partners. The partnership with Razer will mark the continuing effort to grow the Esports scene in Asia.

This partnership is the perfect opportunity to bring a unique consumer experience to gamescom asia, and we are excited to have Razer on-board as our first official esports partner. Together, we will scale-up the playing field for the gaming industry in the region.

Gamescom Asia 2020 a two-day industry gaming conference and a three-day trade and public exhibition, including esports events, a showcase of emerging technologies in video games, gaming workshops, meet-and-greet sessions, cosplay theatrics and much more. It will take place in Singapore from 15th October to 18th October 2020.
