There’s been a slew of free games that came out these past few weeks which is great news especially for us gamers. I mean, as much as we love gaming, you have to admit that this particular pastime isn’t all that cheap so any news of free games going about is sweet music to our ears. This time Homefront is available for FREE through Humble Bundle and will be free (with no strings attached) for a limited time.

Homefront is a first person shooter game that first came out for the PS3, XBOX 360 and Windows way back in 2011 and was published by the now bankrupt THQ. It wasn’t really a massive hit and it slipped under the radar of most gamers at the time. Despite that, it did however gain enough of an audience to warrant a sequel, Homefront: The Revolution which came out last year.

Homefront is set in a future dystopian United States where North Korea and South Korea have been united to form a Greater Korean Republic and wreaking havoc internationally. Check out the synopsis below to know more:

The year is 2027. The world as we know it is unraveling after fifteen years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over dwindling natural resources.
