Winnie the Pooh and Hundred Acre Wood Confirmed for Kingdom Hearts 3

At the X018 event which took place in Mexico City, a brand new trailer for Square Enix’s highly anticipated RPG / J-RPG, Kingdom Hearts 3, was unveiled with some pretty interesting bits of information.

The new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer showed off some of the things we already knew in the game, including the likes of Rapunzel, Jack Sparrow, Baymax, and more. However, we did get a confirmation on the inclusion of Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood.

In past entries, Hundred Acre Wood was designed to be a fun deviation from the standard game, hosting a bunch of mini-games featuring Winnie the Pooh and friends. While it was optional, it will reward players with some very valuable items.

For Kingdom Hearts 3, Square Enix has confirmed that it will still be focused on mini-games. While it wasn’t mentioned, it may be optional yet again but I have a feeling it’s meant to give the players a proper end to Sora’s adventures with Winnie the Pooh.

Aside from that, we did also get to see bits of Terra-Xehanort, otherwise known as Terranort, and the Organization XIII is full force. Many of their identities are still unknown at this point in time but we will get to find out sooner rather than later.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 25th January 2018. No word on a PC release, in case anyone is curious about it.

Pokdepinion: At first, I didn’t like the Hundred Acre Wood levels, it seemed to childish for me. But I have to admit, after going through with it, I’ve developed a soft spot for it. This won’t be something I’ll be skipping if it’s optional, that’s for sure. I’m going to see it through to the end.
