Even Lenovo now has a specialized gaming line of products.

Most computer brands will usually release a line of products that will generally cater to everyone. When there’s a need to cater to a specific niche, it’s not uncommon for these brands to do so under a different sub-brand to differentiate from their usual offerings.

It looks like Lenovo is doing that as well. Built specifically for the gaming crowd, Legion by Lenovo is a dedicated sub-brand line aimed at making the gaming experience even better for gamers.

Khoo Hung Chuan, Country General Manager of Malaysia & Singapore for Lenovo Central APAC, added on:

Lenovo Gaming Research has shown that 59% of PC gamers across the globe has been gaming for 6 to 15 years and demand more immersive experiences. We are pleased to be meeting their needs with the Legion Y720 and Y520. Both machines pack a powerful punch, offering gamers stunning realism through HD graphics and sound.

We’re proud to have maintained our position as the world’s #1 PC company with a record high of 22.4% market share for 15th consecutive quarters and we look forward to continuing success in the future.

Pokdepinion: Everyone wants to jump into the gaming market and I understand why. It’s a nice market and a lot of consumers that fit the niche are able to spend. However, there’s one thing I’d like to point out on Lenovo’s new Legion line. For something that boasts high performance and speed for gamers, why would you guys opt for 5400rpm hard drive? If we’re spending so much for a machine, we’d expect it to have storage with better speeds. An SSD, SSHD, or even a 7200rpm hard drive.
