Valorant Mobile Game May Be In Development 29

If you have been on Twitch for a while, then I’m sure you’ve realized that Riot Games has been domination the streaming service for the past weeks. This is most notably because of the Valorant closed beta that’s going on for PC. New details have surfaced which reveals that Valorant Mobile may be in the works.

According to Reddit user Spacixr, who attempted to play the game on their laptop in tablet mode. It showed the game having tablet / mobile controls designed for a touchscreen device. It’s said that the touchscreen controls work just as it was intended to.

Mobile Icons That Point Towards Valorant Mobile

Furthermore, it appears that mobile icons were discovered through assets which suggests that the game will have mobile support. For now, the game is supposed to be available exclusively on PC with considerations for a console release in the future. Valorant Mobile was never mentioned.

Riot Games is best known for PC games but they’re no stranger to the mobile gaming space anymore. Some of the more notable mobile games by them include League of Legends: Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics Mobile.

This isn’t necessarily evidence that Valorant Mobile is indeed in the works. However, it does show that they will be more than ready if they ever decide to go down that route. Given the free-to-play scheme, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the game pop up on Android and iOS in the future.
