In a brand new trailer, a new tribe is being showcased in Middle-earth: Shadow of War and it involves, and it’s hard to say this correctly, ninja orcs?

Excited for the upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of War game? Well, the release date isn’t too far off but if you can’t wait, here’s some new details about the game that was recently revealed.

There’s Ninja Orcs in Middle-earth: Shadow of War?

Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a brand new trailer of Middle-earth: Shadow of War today. It introduced another of the tribes of orcs which will be included in the game.

It’s rather obvious that the good folks at Monolith took inspiration from various sources to design their Uruk tribes, and this one certainly seems to be inspired at least in part by Japanese Shinobi. The Dark Tribe appears to enjoy using stealth to stalk their enemies, using fast and agile weapons, and they even can disappear and reappear somewhere else after throwing a smoke bomb on the ground. Sounds familiar? Well, it is.

Adept at ambushes, double-crosses and battlefield trickery, the Dark tribe wields power beyond what their numbers would suggest, favoring treachery and betrayal to get the job done.

This is the fourth tribe introduced this way, as we also saw other trailers showing the Marauder tribe,  the Terror Tribe, and the Machine tribe.

If you want to see more about the game, check out our previous post which showcased the new Terror tribe and the expectation of new monsters in the game. Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10th 2017.

Pokdepinion: Classic ninjas, I got no problems with. If they had made like Naruto-based orcs with Rasengans and other weird stuff, I would immediately just give up on life completely.
