Some of the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Con controllers are facing a rather frustrating problem…zero response.

The Nintendo Switch officially became available earlier this month and it was met with a positive reaction from the gaming crowd. We needed a breath of fresh air after the failure known as the Wii U and people instantly fell in love with the new console.

Even the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Con controllers are a marvelous piece of gaming equipment we’ve seen in awhile. However, some users have reported a rather annoying issue they faced with the Joy-Con, and what Nintendo has to say isn’t exactly helpful.

Nintendo Switch Responds to Joy-Con Issue

The Joy-Con issue isn’t exactly a major thing. It’s not something every, let alone most, users of Nintendo Switch faced. While we’re uncertain on the exact number of users who face this issue, we are aware that the issue is present since launch day.

The Joy-Con issue is basically this; the left half of the Joy-Con tends to temporarily lose its connection with the console when it’s being used in wireless mode, either alone or on a grip. This causes the controller to become unresponsive, roughly 5 seconds at that.

Of course, users who faced the Joy-Con issue wants to hear what Nintendo has to say about it. Well, if you were one of those people waiting, you’re not exactly going to be happy about what they have to say, courtesy of the folks over at Forbes:

What Did Nintendo Say?

At Nintendo, we take great pride in creating quality products and we want our consumers to have a positive experience. It is common with any new innovative consumer technology for consumers to have questions, and Nintendo Switch is no exception. There are no widespread technical problems, and all issues are being handled promptly, including the reports regarding the left Joy-Con Bluetooth connection.

To best support our customers, we continuously update the online consumer support site and provide real-time answers to the questions we are receiving. We want our consumers to get up and running quickly to have fun with Nintendo Switch, and if anything falls short of this goal we encourage them to contact Nintendo’s Consumer Service team. For help with any hardware or software questions, please visit: http://support.nintendo.com.

Nintendo also mentioned that the number of people facing the Joy-Con issue isn’t significant but declined to provide an exact number. So yeah, if you’re facing this issue, just go get it changed or repaired from wherever you bought it.

Pokdepinion: This feels more like a template of a safe answer that has been modified to give the public a response on the Joy-Con issue. I mean, I suppose this is still better than keeping quiet, unlike a certain company that caused quite the snafu recently. Would have been nice to have more concrete info on what the problem actually is as well though.
