LEGO Super Mario Universe Adds New LEGO Luigi In ‘Adventures with Luigi Starter Course’

Luigi has finally joined his brother in the LEGO Super Mario universe in the new LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Luigi Starter Course. The new product lets kids team up with the green-clad LEGO Luigi for new exciting brick-built adventures. The latest in the popular toy company’s partnership with Nintendo, the set features an interactive and highly anticipated LEGO Luigi figure.

LEGO Luigi includes his recognizable and charming personality, with his unique voice, and is one LEGO plate taller than LEGO Mario, staying true to Luigi’s iconic look and traits. This new collection, like the Adventures with Mario Starter Course, is an additional entry point into the LEGO Super Mario universe, and it’s compatible with the Mario Starter Course, all Expansion Sets, collectable Character Packs, and Power-Up Packs.

Fans can extend, restore, customise, and develop their own action-packed challenges in a highly interactive experience with LEGO Mario or LEGO Luigi in both Starter Courses. LEGO Luigi features the same technology as his brother, including a colour sensor, an LCD screen that displays a variety of movement reactions, and a speaker that plays classic Super Mario sounds and music.

LEGO Luigi allows kids aged 6 and up to ‘level up’ their play with new LEGO Super Mario additions. Players can win digital coins in real-life level play by assisting LEGO Luigi in completing a spinning seesaw challenge, engaging with the new Pink Yoshi, and beating Boom Boom and a Bone Goomba while pushing LEGO Luigi from the Start Pipe to the Goal Pole.

The 71387 Adventures with Luigi Starter Course contains brown-coloured bricks that represent the Tower biome, which will cause LEGO Luigi to make a new sound, as well as a? Block that will provide exciting extra rewards. The LEGO Super Mario product line provides a one-of-a-kind play experience in which players can receive immediate feedback for innovative building and play ideas.

The LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Luigi Starter Course is available for pre-order online starting today at LEGO Certified Stores, LEGOLAND, Toys ‘R’ US, and the official LEGO Store on Lazada and Shopee. It will launch for general sale globally from 1 August. The recommended retail price for the Adventures with Luigi Starter Course is RM259.90.
