Apex Legends New Havoc Energy Rifle Weapon Unveiled

The folks over at Respawn Entertainment has made the biggest change to their popular battle royale game, Apex Legends, since the game’s launch. It’s a brand new weapon called the Havoc Energy Rifle.

The Havoc Energy Rifle is a new Energy ammo-based weapon that has multiple different functions. In its basic form, it is a full-auto assault rifle that can be used to mow down whoever you may come across in Kings Canyon. Much like the Devotion, the energy ammo LMG, you can also attach the Turbocharger Hop-Up to the Havoc to remove the autofire delay that is present on the weapon.

Unlike other guns in Apex Legends though, the Havoc is compatible with multiple Hop-Up attachments. If you attach the Selectfire Receiver Hop-Up to the Havoc, the gun then gains the ability to be used in a charge beam mode. Essentially, this charge beam works like a sniper rifle allowing you to also pick apart foes that you may come across with pinpoint accuracy.

You can also cycle through this charge beam mode and auto fire mode as you see fit. Basically, the Havoc allows you to be able to have the benefits of both a sniper and an assault rifle at your disposal all at once if you have the Selectfire Receiver attached, which is extremely handy.

Be sure to check out the trailer for the Havoc Energy Rifle at the top of this post for a clearer idea as to how it works.

Apex Legends is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Pokdepinion: Personally, I’m more of a long-range and short-range fighter, not so much mid-range so this one might just work for me.
