The folks at Blizzard has confirmed some details on their upcoming game titles, Diablo 4, or Diablo IV in preference to some out there. The big news? Well the game will be the first in the franchise to offer support for controllers (on PC, of course).

Blizzard has said that they are doing their best in trying to uniform both PC and console versions of the game. Here’s what they had to say:

We wanted to give players the ability to switch between the two options freely, so our UI needed to be unified enough that swapping hardware inputs on-the-fly wouldn’t throw people completely off kilter. A unified UI means our layouts are more grid-based for ease of navigation, but it doesn’t necessarily mean an identical interaction flow.

It’s also said that they are giving you the option to customize your skill bar, your preferred button layout, as well as keybindings for the game.

Aside from that, they have revealed that they will also be offering 2-player co-op gameplay. Though it’s worth mentioning that the game is online-only and can’t be played offline.

Pokdepinion: I honestly can’t wait for the game. Been a fan of the series for so long. Let’s just hope everything goes smoothly… though I don’t think we can expect the game to be out anytime soon..
