[E3 2019] Platforms for Marvel’s Avengers Game Revealed

One of the most highly anticipated games teased in recent times is Marvel’s Avengers by Square Enix. We expected to hear about this during the Square Enix press conference at E3 2019 but it looks like we got some early details pop up.

Square Enix has showed their banner for the game at E3 2019 which included the platforms that the game will be released on. The ones listed are PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the Nintendo Switch is included for this one. Looks like the game may require quite a bit of power from the hardware if that’s the case.

News comes from a Marvel’s Avengers fan Twitter account, that posted a picture of promotional art outside of the Los Angeles Convention Center to celebrate E3. You can see a big version of the Avengers logo with the brand information for Marvel, Crystal Dynamics, Square Enix, and Eidos Montreal. Below the big Avengers logo we see “Embrace Your Powers” next to prospective console logos.

What’s interesting here is that this is the first Square Enix game confirmed to be coming to Google Stadia. Those who pre-ordered the Founder’s Edition will be happy to know about any game that they can play immediately when they can access the platform. We might just see more Square Enix games make its way to Google Stadia, perhaps even the Final Fantasy VII Remake or a port of Kingdom Hearts 3.

For now, there’s still plenty of details that we don’t know yet but we expect it to be revealed very soon.

Pokdepinion: I’m hoping something like the Spider-Man game we got from Insomniac Games but something tells me it’s gonna be quite different. Gotta wait just a bit longer to see.
