According to notable leaker Zeniet, the Genshin Impact 1.6 livestream will be happening on the 28th May 2021 at about 8 AM ET / 5 AM PT / 8PM GMT+8. This information is based on their previous 1.5 livestream along with the fact that it needs to happen by the end of the month.

For those of you who aren’t aware, there will be quite a bit of new things to expect. For starters, there will be new Summer Skins for Jean and Barbara, with pictures of both already surfaced online. There may be more for other characters but that is still not confirmed yet at this point in time.

Apart form that, we may be getting a new playable region consisting of a number of islands and a new character in the form of Kazuha. miHoYo may still have a few tricks up their sleeves so we will just have to wait for the Genshin Impact 1.6 livestream to find out what’s actually coming to the game.

Genshin Impact is currently available for free on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Android, and iOS. A Nintendo Switch port is expected to launch sometime later this year.

Pokdepinion: This will be a good way to know what’s confirmed to be coming as part of the upcoming major update. I don’t expect every single thing mentioned in leaks to be included as they may want to save it for a future update or take more time to refine it. Either way, I look forward to it.
