If you have been looking forward to new content in Genshin Impact, more leaks on the upcoming 1.4 update has been revealed and this time, it focuses on Artifact ascension item changes.

Genshin Impact 1.4 Leaks Reveal Artifact Ascension Item Changes

Genshin Impact 1.4 update will be coming on 17th March 2021 and as we get closer to the date, it’s no surprise that we’ll start to hear more and more about it. As it has been rumoured previous, Artifact ascension items will be introduced in update 1.4, which will make it easier to upgrade Artifacts as you had to normally break down other Artifacts for that to happen.

If it is true, there will be specific items for specific Artifacts, and you can check it out right below here:

  1. Sanctifying Droplet (1 star): This can be used to ascend your artifacts to Phase 1
  2. Sanctifying Water (2 stars): This can be used to ascend your artifacts to Phase 2
  3. Sanctifying Spring (3 stars): This can be used to ascend your artifacts to Phase 3
  4. Sanctifying Essence (4 stars): This can be used to ascend your artifacts to Phase 4

According to notable leakster @HoneyDodogama, two Artifact ascension items have been changed to Artifact EXP items, which means you will have two enhancement materials that will award EXP points for it. This includes Sanctifying Unction and Sanctifying Essence, which will reward 2,500 EXP and 10,000 EXP respectively.

No word yet on how the items can be obtained and we do expect there to be more changes. For now, just keep your eyes out on 17th March 2021 if you’re looking forward to new things in Genshin Impact.
