Latest Genshin Impact Leak Reveals 3 New Characters - Yae, Sara, Gorou

It’s July now and many gamers are looking forward to learning more about the next Genshin Impact update. It might be version 1.7, and there’s also a chance they might move straight to version 2.0. Either way, it appears the livestream schedule for it has been leaked.

According to renowned leaker Sukuna, the livestream for Genshin Impact 1.7 / 2.0 will be happening on 9th July, 8AM EST / 8PM GMT+8 (Malaysia time). The English and Chinese livestream will be happening at the same time, and it will be taking place on Twitch.

This is a rather interesting change since they previously held their livestreams on YouTube instead, which suggests that Twitch has reached some form of exclusivity deal with miHoYo. It could also help the studio reach a new audience as a result. Normally, the English livestream takes place 4 hours after the Chinese one on Bilibili but it looks like they’re trying to get to more people as soon as they can.

For now, Genshin Impact 1.7 / 2.0 will be launching on 21st July 2021. It will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC. A Nintendo Switch port of the game is still in the works and is expected to launch sometime soon.

Pokdepinion: It appears that miHoYo is aware of how popular their game is with the English-speaking crowd, so it’s a good change. Can’t wait to see the new Inazuma region, or at least the final version rather than the leaked version that we’ve learned about thus far.
