Overwatch 2 New Hero: Ramattra, Joins December 6

At the Overwatch League Grand Finals, the makers of the game has revealed their newest Tank hero – Ramattra.

A character with complex and multifaceted past, his ultimate goal is to protect his people – however the cost of reaching that goal is still anyone’s guesses. Originally a war machine – Ramattra shed his munitions for a shield to protect his people by peace and tranquility. Sharing similar experiences with his fellow Shambli monk – Zenyatta – his story however is one about hardships, trauma, and the exposure of humanity’s harsh realities.

Harmony was soon replaced by dissonance, and Ramattra began to take on his mission for peace in a different way – by any means necessary, to defend his fellow omnics. As the Null Sector leader, he boasts incredible support from his people, and he is ready to bring his philosophies on human’s world.

Ramattra will join the Tank lineup beginning Season Two, starting December 6. Keep an eye out on official Overwatch 2 channels for latest info leading up to the hero’s release.
