Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Release Date Confirmed

If you were excited when you saw the trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, then I’m sure you’ve been wondering when you can expect the game to be out. Well, the folks over at Respawn Entertainment have officially announced the release date for the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will actually be coming this year. To be precise, on 15th November 2019. The date was revealed during the game’s panel at this year’s Star Wars Celebration event, where it was also confirmed that the PC version would be exclusively available through Origin. We also got a look at a trailer, which unfortunately did not show any gameplay footage.

We now know that players will take control of Cal Kestis, a young Padawan who escaped Order 66, the Emperor’s decree to wipe out all Jedi, even the younglings in training. He sets out on an adventure to discover his tragic past while also completing his Jedi training.  He needs to do this while evading the Empire, who are still out to kill him. At E3 2018, Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella confirmed that the game would take place between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope.

Star Wars Celebration also yielded a new trailer for the next movie in the beloved franchise. During the show it was confirmed to be called Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. If you haven’t seen the trailer for the movie yet, you should. It will certainly get the hype train going.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Origin on 15th November 2019.

Pokdepinion: The trailer looks really good, and the fact that the game is coming out this year is even better. Would’ve loved to see gameplay footage, though.
