Andrew “GiantWaffle” Bodine last month started a journey where he aimed to break the world record for continuous gameplay streaming and just recently, he managed to do so.

You’d most likely not be alive should you not get the rest or sleep that your body needs, thus Bodine completed a 19-hour stream every single day that brings up to a total of 572 hours of streaming period.

In the record breaking attempt, he played several games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Death Stranding, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Escape From Tarkov, Rocket League, Factoria, as well as Rainbow Six Siege.

Of course, before he even attempted to make the record, he had to do some training beforehand.

He has said what he did wasn’t healthy where he says “It’s very obvious and I’m well aware of it. But when put into perspective, a lot of people trying to break records push themselves to the limit in ways that are not seen as healthy. It’s not easy. It was never meant to be easy”.

Bodine did say however that it was worth the hardship as his viewership rose through the month. He states “Currently I’m averaging 4 to 10 times my normal statistics such as viewer hours, unique visitors, subscribers”.

After he managed to break the record, he published on his Twitter account “I love sleep”.

Pokdepinion: As a person who loves his sleep, I couldn’t agree more with his last Tweet.
