Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia is proud to announce the PlayStation League Asia 2018, an official EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Qualifier, powered by ESL Asia. It features 8 of the best FIFA 18 players from Asia, competing for a total prize pool of USD $10,000.

PlayStation League Asia 2018 Announced: The Road to FIFA eWorld Cup 2018

The folks over at Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia has announced an official EA Sports FIFA 18 Global Series Qualifier, the PlayStation League Asia 2018. It will be taking place over at Battle Arena on May 13th 2018 and it will feature 8 of the best FIFA 18 players from Asia duke it out for their chance at the prize pool of USD $10,000.

Of course given that people from Sony Interactive Entertainment announced it and how the league has been named, the PlayStation League Asia 2018 will be centered on FIFA 18 for the PlayStation 4. There will be 4 online qualifiers from April 12th 2018 to April 15th 2018, with 2 players from each qualifier advancing. Only those aged 16 and above are allowed to participate.

As mentioned earlier, there will be a prize pool of USD $10,000. This is how the prizes are being divided:

PlayStation League Asia 2018 Prizes

  • Champion: USD $3,000 + Ticket to EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Playoff
  • 1st Runner Up: USD $2,500
  • 2nd Runner Up: USD $1,500
  • 3rd Runner Up: USD $1,000
  • Other Runner Ups: USD $500

The PlayStation League Asia 2018 is an official qualifier for the EA Sports FIFA 18 Global Series on The Road to FIFA eWorld Cup 2018, in which one player will be crowned the undisputed best FIFA player in the world.
