PUBG MOBILE has just announced that they will be partnering with local telco Yoodo and smartphone brand Xiaomi to bring you 2021’s PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC). The return of PMNC will see players from all over the country battle it out for an opportunity to get a chance to qualify for the PUBG MOBILE Pro League MY/SG Season 4 (PMPL MY/SG S4).

The PUBG MOBILE National Championship 2021 will run from 1 June to 18 July with three tournament divisions (Squad, Solo, and Ladies) and a total prize pool of RM100,000. There will be four different zones happening during the PMNC qualifiers and will cater to players from across Malaysia.

The four different zones (Erangel Zone, Sanhok Zone, Miramar Zone and Karakin Zone) will be divided between these states below:

  • Erangel Zone – Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan
  • Miramar Zone – Perak, Penang, Perlis, Kedah
  • Karakin Zone – Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor
  • Sanhok Zone – Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Melaka

Qualified teams and players from both the Squad and Solo groups will compete in the Zone Finals over the course of four weeks for a spot in the Grand Finals. A total of 16 teams will compete in the Grand Finals (Top 12 teams from Squad category and Top 16 players from Solo category to form 4 teams).

In addition, as part of the tournament’s goal to promote female empowerment in the esports industry, the Grand Finals will feature the final battle of the eligible teams from the Ladies division. From the 16th of May onwards, all tournament types will be open for registration.

The Top 4 teams from the PUBG MOBILE National Championship Grand Finals will be securing their spot in the league, while the 5th to10th place teams will still have a chance by advancing as Wild Card teams to the PUBG MOBILE Pro League MY/SG Season 4 Qualifier Playoffs, with its Top 4 teams also securing their spot in the league.
