Second Beta for Metal Gear Survive Announced

Today, Konami unveiled new information regarding its upcoming title Metal Gear Survive, which is set to hold another beta this month across all platforms.

According to the press release, the second beta will commence on Friday, February 16th and will conclude on Sunday, February 18th, a couple of days before the game is set to officially launch. Additionally, this marks the first time PC gamers will have a chance to play the game early.

During the duration of the beta, players will have the opportunity to team up with friends to tackle missions on select maps. Those who partake in the beta will earn in-game bonus items which will be made available when the game officially launches; this includes a FOXHOUND nameplate and one Metal Gear Red head accessory to name a few.

Metal Gear Survive is currently being developed by Konami Digital Entertainment and is the first game in the series after the series’ creator, Hideo Kojima departed from the company in 2015. Initially, the game had a 2017 launch window. However, last June, Konami announced the game was delayed to 2018.

Pokdepinion: Well, getting a glimpse of a game before it’s finally released is not a bad thing. Would definitely be a good way to convince the game if they don’t hate the developer too much.
