A brand new trailer for Bandai Namco’s Gintama Rumble has appeared, showcasing Doromizu Jirochou and Tokumori Saigo in the 4 Devas of Kabukicho arc.

Gintama Rumble Has New Trailer Up

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming samurai action game based on the Gintama anime, Gintama Rumble.

The trailer is very brief, closer to a TV commercial-style format with only 15 seconds of footage, but they’re enough to show 2 more characters included in the game.

We get to see Kamakko club owner Tokumori Saigou and former Yakuza leader Jirochou Doromizu. Fans of the series will have an easy time finding a connection, as the trailer is dedicated to the Kabukicho Four Devas arc of the anime, that will appear in the game.

Minor spoilers, the Four Devas of Kabukicho arc dives into the history of Kabukicho, explaining why Gintoki protects Otose, as well as Otose’s backstory which involves somewhat of a love triangle between her, her late husband Tatsugoro and Jirochou himself. Check out the new trailer at the top of this post.

Gintama Rumble will release in both Japan and Asia on January 18th 2017, and the Asia version will come with handy English subtitles, allowing everyone to enjoy the game. There’s no region locks so gamers from other regions can freely pickup the Asia version if they want to play it and be able to understand what’s it about.

The Japanese version will be for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, while the Asian release will be exclusive for the PlayStation 4.  A western release has not been announced for now, but even if it Bandai Namco decides not to launch in North America and Europe, importing the Asian version shouldn’t be a problem.

Pokdepinion: Not only is the addition of those 2 characters exciting, the inclusion of that major arc is gonna make the game even more entertaining. Can’t wait for the final release of Gintama Rumble.
