The official PS Plus Asia free games lineup for August 2018 has finally been announced. There’s a great selection of games that will entice many gamers.

Our US and EU counterparts recently found out about their lineup of free games. Truth be told, the lineup was a big improvement in quality over the previous month’s lineup. So what about us in the Asia region? Well, we got good news as ours is pretty darn good as well. Without further ado, let’s take a look, shall we?

Headlining this month’s lineup is Mafia III. The story is set in New Bordeaux 1968. Lincoln Clay, his black mob family, is wiped out by the Italian Mafia. , Lincoln builds a new family and blazes a path of military-grade revenge through the Mafioso responsible. You can build a new criminal empire your way by deciding which lieutenants you reward, and which to betray. Avenge your enemy by brute force, blazing guns or stealthy tactics, to tear down the Italian Mafia.

Next up, we have another game for the PS4, Syberia 3. Enter the enchanting world of Benoit Sokal’s latest masterpiece. Kate Walker is found dying on the banks of a river by the Youkol tribe, a nomadic people accompanying their migrating snow ostriches. Stuck together and imprisoned in the town of Valsembor, you must find a way to continue the journey in a race against their enemies and unexpected obstacles.

Their last highlight and a special treat for PS Vita users, we have Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Trilogy Pack. It is time for you to expand your Assassin’s Creed experience and discover the forgotten stories of three remarkable Assassins in brand-new settings. Each chronicle comes with a different assassin equipped with a distinct range of weapons and gadgets. Each chapter comes with a unique hero and a new setting all interconnected through a common plot that will only be revealed at the very end.

There is also two extra things happening that gamers should take note of. There is a free PS Multiplayer Weekend where everyone on the PlayStation Network can play games with other people online for free under trial. Normally, you will need an active PS Plus membership in order to enjoy online multiplayer.

The other thing is that they will be having a 33% discount on the 3-month PS Plus subscription, but this is only applicable to those without active subscriptions.

This lineup will be available from 9th August 2018 to 5th September 2018 so be sure to grab ’em quick when it’s out in about a week’s time.
