It’s that time of the month again when Playstation reveals what games will be offered for PS Plus members. Without wasting any more time, let’s jump right in to the free games that May 2019 has to offer.

First up is Metal Gear Survive, an action-adventure survival game that’s developed by Konami. It was initially released back in February 2018. The game is a spin off from the main Metal Gear Solid V story that takes place in a strange alternate universe. You can create your character, scavenge resources, craft weapons, build a base camp, explore the unknown while develop survival skills to survive. The game comes with a co-op mode, allowing you to play with 3 other players to infiltrate or defend areas from hordes of creatures.

Up next is The Witness, a puzzle video game that came out in January 2016. You wake up in a strange island that’s filled with puzzles that will challenge and surprise you. With no memory of who you are, all you can do is explore the island in the hopes of gaining clues, regaining your memory and finding your way back home. The game is a single-player game with over 500 puzzles.

In addition to the two games, Playstation Asia is also giving away two special themes, which are Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operations 2 and an exclusive Toro theme that will run until June 2019.

These games will be available to download for PS Plus member starting from 9th of May 2019 and last until 4th of June 2019. If you haven’t grabbed this month’s free game, you might want to do so before they’re gone. This month offers PS Plus subscribers The Surge and What Remains of Edith Finch. You can read more about them here.

Pokdepinion: I remembered trying the beta for Metal Gear Survive and it wasn’t a good experience. When I tried to find an online lobby to play with, I waited roughly 30 minutes and still couldn’t find anything. Since that it’s going to be free, maybe it’ll be easier to find a game soon?
