Resident Evil VII: Biohazard Gold Edition’s release has been officially confirmed. It will be coming with available and upcoming DLCs!

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard Gold Edition Confirmed

Released in the beginning of the year, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard became one of the surprise success of the year with great critical and commercial success, with the game to see an expanded edition later this year with all of the post-release content in store.

Capcom has announced the release of Resident Evil VII: Biohazard Gold Edition, which will pack in the original game and both of its “Banned Footage” DLC add-ons, along with a new DLC expansion called “End of Zoe.” The Gold Edition will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on December 12th, 2017.

Specifically, the “End of Zoe” expansion will show players a “shocking installment” of the Resident Evil VII story in which players will “discover what Zoe’s fate will be.” End of Zoe will be included as part of the Gold Edition of Resident Evil VII, while those that already have the game can grab the add-on as part of the game’s Season Pass, or purchase it on its own for $14.99.

Capcom also announced that the “Not a Hero” DLC, which will feature longtime Resident Evil veteran Chris Redfield, will also be released alongside Resident Evil VII: Biohazard Gold Edition as a free update for all players of Resident Evil VII on December 12th, 2017. An official description for the DLC can be found below:

The free Not a Hero DLC sees the return of Resident Evil fan favorite and veteran BSAA soldier Chris Redfield. Taking place after the horrific events that befell Ethan Winters in Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Not a Hero brings a brand new experience playing as Chris to face new threats not met in the main game.

As a member of New Umbrella, Chris and team quickly set up a strategy to counter this latest threat. Will Chris once again solve the mystery of this latest outbreak and make it out of the plantation’s dungeons alive?

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard Gold Edition will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on December 12th, 2017. Both of its upcoming DLC expansions, “End of Zoe” and “Not A Hero” will also release the same day.

Pokdepinion: Wasn’t really a big fan of the game honestly speaking. The horror factor went down quite fast so it ended up being just any normal action game to me eventually. On the plus side, being able to play as a familiar character might convince me to pick up Resident Evil VII: Biohazard Gold Edition, so we’ll see.
