Can You Lay the PS5 Flat On Its Sides? It Might Just Be Okay

With the PS5 release date still unknown while the Xbox Series X is basically set in stone, many gamers across the globe are wondering when we can expect it to hit store shelves. If the new reports that have surfaced as of late holds the truth, it might not be a long wait after all.

PS5 to Launch This November 2020?

According to VGC, the Xbox Series X will indeed launch before the PS5, sometime in early November 2020. The report claims that “Microsoft has told developers to plan towards a launch in the very first week of November,” giving the company “wiggle room to potentially slip into the second week and still launch ahead of Sony.”

Interestingly, sources from within Xbox claims that the PlayStation 5 will launch on 13th November 2020, which means it will be a mid-November time frame. There may be some truth to the matter because Microsoft is actively looking to undercut Sony in terms of pricing and launch. Moreover, the mid-November time frame coincides with Sony’s previous launches for the PS4 and PS3.

With that being said however, nothing is considered official until Sony Interactive Entertainment announces it themselves. The specific date of 13th November 2020 may be a little hard to believe, but we can at least keep the mid-November time frame in mind. For now, we will be reporting more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: I’m not surprised if it is true. The companies definitely need the entirety of December to truly push out for holiday sales. Time to wait and see.
