After their groundbreaking announcement at EVO 2018, we finally have the release date for Anna Williams and Lei Wulong’s arrival in Tekken 7.

Tekken 7: Lei Wulong and Anna Williams Release Date Confirmed

The folks over at Bandai Namco has officially announced the arrival of Season 2 of Tekken 7. Of course, it will start out with the arrival of two legacy characters; Lei Wulong and Anna Williams.

After the major announcement at EVO 2018 which we reported about, many are asking when will the characters be making their highly anticipated entrance. Both of the characters will be arriving on 6th September 2018 (may differ very slightly depending on your country).

At the moment of this writing, we know the Japanese price for each, which will be 500 yen. That should be equivalent to Eliza’s price at USD $4.99 / RM20.00. Keep in mind, Geese Howard and Noctis was priced at USD $7.99 / RM31.00, and is priced higher because they’re guest characters. The extra cost would mostly likely be so they can share better profits with their rights holders.

No word yet on the latest guest character confirmed to join the fray, Negan from The Walking Dead series. You can check out the Japanese trailers which we included throughout this post. The trailers show additional moves / combo strings as well as their release date.

Tekken 7 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. If you haven’t bought the game and are currently considering it, you can also read our review of the game. We only had complaints about the story, not the mechanics.

Pokdepinion: I can’t wait to give them a try. Lei Wulong seems fun to use but Anna Williams seem a bit overpowered from the trailer. Then again, you’ll never really know until you try.
