Over at TGS 2017, Square Enix gave everyone an insight on Final Fantasy XV’s Monster of the Deep DLC expansion. Fire up them PSVR kits everyone!

Final Fantasy XV “Monster of the Deep” Expansion

In case you didn’t know, Tokyo Game Show has begun, and we’ve been learning a lot from some of our favorite studios. Today, Square Enix revealed a brand new trailer from your next adventure with Noctis, Ignis, Prompto, and Gladio (amongst some others); Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV.

Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV is the upcoming standalone virtual reality title set in the Final Fantasy XV universe where you will have the chance to leisurely angle from some of Eos’ best watering holes, but also where you’ll need to fight for survival against some of the world’s most fearsome creatures.

You’ll find plenty of ordinary fish throughout your journey in Monster of the Deep, but soon you will encounter the game’s action-packed struggles with the watery wildlife. You’ll know what I mean once the rock ballad starts up in the trailer below.

Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV is scheduled to release on November 21, 2017 for PlayStation VR. As promised, you will find the new trailer provided below.

Earlier today, we received word about a story expansion for Final Fantasy XV from Tokyo Game Show 2017. If you missed out on that, click here to get up to speed on what’s coming to the game in the future.

Pokdepinion: So many new things coming to the game and so many things make me feel wary of it at the same time. It’s no secret at this point that I myself was a bit disappointed with the game, and I really hope these extra content for FFXV will indeed improve the overall experience. Otherwise, I’d be really afraid to think about the future of the Final Fantasy series.
