Vainglory Update For 5v5 – Now Available

Vainglory has released their 3.0 game update, which makes the much anticipated 5v5 mode now available to players around the world.

Vainglory 5v5 Now Officially Out

For those who don’t know, Vainglory is a mobile MOBA (your typical three-lane map game similar to DoTA 2 and LoL). The game features 3M+ polygons, more than 200 fully animated moving actors, and rendered at 120FPS.

To date, Vainglory is the first and only true MOBA, albeit on mobile, that features true line-of-sigh Fog of War, real macro and rotational strategies, last-hitting (creeps), wave control, and completely free player camera controls.

In addition to the 5v5 update, it seems that the game managed to get Joris de Man, best known for his music for the Killzone franchise and Horizon Zero Dawn, to compose music for the MOBA. It will feature an adaptive music system that unveils the score based on how you play, meaning that the listening experience will be different each time you play (well if you play inconsistently).

To celebrate with the launch, as well as the special Lunar New Year, there will be an event kicking off shortly after the update, which will run from the 15th-22nd February 2018. Players stand a chance to win in-game skins by playing the new mode, with extra bonuses for playing with new year themed skins.

On a side note, Super Evil Megacorp, the company that brought Vainglory, also reaffirmed a key partnerships last week. ESP Gaming will be bringing top-tier league of Vainglory eSports in North America and Europe, reintroduced as the Vainglory Premier League to a new home in Las Vegas.

Vainglory is available for free on the App Store, Google Play, as well as on the Amazon Appstore.
