Acer Introduces New Veriton, Travelmate, And Chromebook Variants

Acer Malaysia has today unveiled new options for users by adding more models for their Acer Veriton Z, Acer Veriton N, TravelMate series and also a 13-inch Chromebook Spin.

Acer Veriton Z4660G

Powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core processor (i3/i5), the Veriton Z4660G comes with Intel Optane and is also features M.2 PCIe SSD. It is aimed for those who want a smooth, responsive, and fast computing, or simply put, an ideal All-in-One desktop.

Display wise, you can enjoy its 178-degree Wide Full HD IPS display and it comes equipped with an Ergostand, where you can tilt, pivot, swivel, and adjust the height for your own viewing preference.

It also comes with a flappable camera where it can be pointed towards you for individual video calls or flipped towards the room if you want to do a video conference. If you don’t feel like using it, it can also be retracted.

Other specifications include;

  • 4GB DDR4 RAM, with up to 32GB
  • Intel UHD Graphics 630
  • 21.4″ Wide Full HD LED, 1920×1080
  • High Definition Stereo speakers
  • 3 year on site warranty.

The Veriton Z4660G sells for RM2,899 for the Core i3-8100 variant and RM3,199 for the Core i5-8400.

Acer Veriton N4660G

With the Veriton N4660G, it is a small form factor mini PC that’s designed for those who want to save up on space while still having the power and performance of a regular desktop. Similarly, it also comes with the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processors, Intel Optane, and M.2 PCIe SSD.

It comes with easily removed screws and a chassis that you can slide open, where you can upgrade it should you want to. You can modify or replace memory and storage option thanks to its Acer tool-less design.

In addition, the Veriton N4660G is VESA-mount ready. so you can save even more space on the table. Other specifications include;

  • 4GB DDR4 RAM, up to 32GB
  • Intel UHD Graphics 630
  • High Definition speakers, 5.1 capable
  • Three year on-site warranty

It is priced at RM2,899 for the Core i3-8100 version and RM3,399 for the Core i5-8500.

Acer Travelmate X3310


The Acer TravelMate X3310 is for those who want a serious business-class laptop that’s able to handle multitasking and workloads. Powered by an Intel Core i5-8250U processor, it comes with 8GB DDR4 RAM, with up to 32GB available. Also available is 256GB M.2 PCIe SSD for fast performance. It’s battery life can stand up to 15 hours, the company claims.

Its 13.3-inch FHD display comes with Acer’s BluelightShield and ComfyView technology to protect your eyes. In addition to that, it offers durability as it has been certified with U.S military testing standards, with it being able to withstand a drop from a height of up to 122cm.

Other than that, it is port friendly with it coming with HDMI, VGA, Type-C and RJ45 ports respectively. It is available to purchase now at a price of RM4,099.

Acer Chromebook Spin 13

Last on the list is the Acer Chromebook Spin 13. It comes with an Intel Core i5-8250U processor and comes with 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and up to 64GB of eMMC storage.

It is the first Chromebook in the world to run on an 8th Gen Intel Core i processor. It is built with an aluminum chassis and a Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad. Display is 13.5-inches and it offers QHD display with 2256×1504 resolution. Adding to that, it comes with a Wacom stylus, which you can use for your sketches, taking notes, capturing ideas, and interact with programs with precision.

It offers USB Type-C ports on each side, where you can charge the Chromebook. You can also use those ports to transfer files and charge other devices too, of course. It’s battery life is said to last up to 10 hours.

With its support Android apps through Google Play, you have access to Chrome apps and more on the Google Play Store. Available now, you can get it at a price of RM3,599.
