Just when you thought the gaming laptops are just way too powerful to be true, this beast sets a whole new standard altogether. The Acer Predator 21 X brings truly insane levels of performance to a laptop form factor, while also being the very first notebook in the world with a curved 21″ ultra-wide display. With G-SYNC support, of course.

The curved 21″ ultra-wide IPS display sports a 2560×1080 resolution for a greater field of view, a great advantage in FPS games. NVIDIA G-SYNC technology is also featured for stutter-free and no tearing in every scenario for a smooth and sharp gaming experience. A great visual experience isn’t the only thing Acer is promising with the Predator 21 X, as it also comes with SoundPound 4.2+, which crams 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers onto this gaming beast. Dolby Audio handles the software part of the audio equation to give you an exceptional aural experience.

For a more immersive gaming experience, the notebook integrates Tobii eye-tracking technology to give gamers a new intuitive and natural way of control. Simply by moving their eyes to gaze at objects, gamers can aim, identify enemies and take cover. The infrared sensors and software work seamlessly together to unlock this new frontier of control in gaming. In terms of basic controls, the Acer Predator 21 X features a full-sized mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX switches, complete with customizable RGB backlight settings for each individual key built right into the body of the Predator 21 X. The numeric keypad also doubles as Precision Touchpad with a unique design that allows it to be flipped over. There will also be a palm rest for better ergonomics when using the built-in

As usual for any gaming laptop, brute performance is the core of an enjoyable experience. Acer is not going to let down gamers here, and the Acer Predator 21 X will feature the latest 7th Generation “Kaby Lake” Intel Core CPUs with dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI configuration, allowing you to enjoy your AAA titles to the fullest with all graphics settings turned on. Cooling all that hardware is an advanced cooling architecture with FIVE system fans, 3 of which are ultra-thin AeroBlade metal fans. Needless to say, this baby will be cool under anything you can throw at it.

No prices were mentioned and we aren’t sure when this massive beast will arrive in Malaysia, but we are sure when it does, it will be quite damaging on the wallet. Till then, enjoy this video teaser of the Acer Predator 21 X.

Pokdepinion: This is really a monster! I am pretty sure anyone who gets this will not be carrying it around, as it is a whole 83.25 mm thick while weighing 8 kg. With that kind of hardware inside I think you can forget about battery life, which means you will have to carry the power adapter with you as well. A portable, (insanely) powerful all-in-one desktop is a better description of what it really is, not a laptop! Still, it is still hard to understand we now have this kind of performance in a portable form factor, when we could not even dream of this kind of setup a few years back.
