Acer Swift 5 Now Available In Malaysia – Performance, Light, And Slim!

Acer has announce that their ultra-slim and ultra-light laptop, the Acer Swift 5, has officially landed in our shores here in Malaysia.

The new laptop from Acer measures and 14.9mm thin and weighs a featherweight of just 970g. It’s constructed with a selected type of materials that includes magnesium-lithium alloys for the top and bottoms cover, and for the palm rest area, which gives extra sturdiness.

In terms of specifications, the laptop utilizes an 8th Generation Intel Core processors, 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 256GB SSD, giving a fast and responsive experience to users. It features a Full HD IPS 1920 x 1080 touchscreen display with a narrow border that maximizes the viewing area. Enjoy your social media browsing, online shopping, and not to forget movie watching with its 14-inch display which is paired with Acer Color Intelligence.

The laptop’s battery can last up to 8 hours from a single charge, according to Acer. As usual, today’s laptop comes with Windows 10 and the Acer Swift 5 is no exception to that.

In addition, the laptop is equipped with Acer Fingerprint Reader, which is a biometric authentication system that is paired with Windows Hello. Audio wise, it features Acer TrueHarmony with Dolby Audio Premium technology, giving better sound quality when you watch your movies or play your songs and games.

The Acer Swift 5 is now available in two models, with either an i5 processor or an i7 processor. For the latter, it will cost you RM4,599 and the former is priced at RM3,799. They are both available for purchase at all authorized Acer resellers nation wide.
