The ASUS ROG Mothership GZ700GX is one of the most innovative gaming laptops ever created. Many have dubbed it as the Microsoft surface of gaming laptops due to its form factor. For those of you who have been anticipating this beast, it has finally landed in Malaysia.
For those of you who aren’t aware, the ASUS ROG Mothership GZ700GX has all the major components seated behind the monitor as opposed to being on the keyboard where it will be placed flat on a surface. This reimagined gaming laptop design allows for better cooling thanks to unrestricted access to airflow.
The keyboard can be separated, folded, and used in both wired and wireless modes for added flexibility, giving consumers the freedom to position it to their liking. Detaching the keyboard will unveiled a row of four speakers that will directed towards the user for a more wholesome audio experience.
For all the firepower it is packing, it is surprisingly thin at just 29.9mm. This was made possible becaused of its CNC-machined body which is milled with precision for the perfect fit. The display is also perfect for the power its packing as it’s a Full HD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. This makes it a viable choice for professionals and gaming enthusiasts.

The ASUS ROG Mothership GZ700GX will be retailing for RM26,999 with a 2-year warranty period, and will come with an ROG Backpack, ROG Gladius gaming mouse, and an ROG gaming headset as free gifts. It will be available in Malaysia starting mid-July 2019.
