ASUS Republic of Gamers has partnered with Activision to bring Call of Duty: Black Ops 4-themed gaming hardware to gamers. They actually released a whole lineup of hardware, including a customized ROG Maximus XI Hero (WiFi AC) COD: Black Ops 4 Edition. And they look amazing.

For starters, the motherboard features exclusive styling cues like the Black Ops 4 skull and logo on the motherboard. If you are a fan of Call of Duty, this makes the perfect motherboard to build your system on. While the lighting on the motherboard defaults to the COD: Black Ops 4 orange, they do support RGB in case you get bored of the orange color.

For peripherals, ROG kitted out the ROG Strix Flare keyboard, ROG Strix Edge and ROG Gladius II Origin with COD: Black Ops 4 branding. The ROG Strix Flare is probably the most unique one with the badges on the palm rest area. The RGB lighting on the keyboard and mouse also defaults to orange here, fitting into the entire theme of the ROG x COD: Black Ops 4 ecosystem.

They also showcased the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 COD: Black Ops 4 Edition, which isn’t all that different from the standard variant aside from some orange accents and COD: Black Ops 4 logo. Of course, there is RGB lighting for the logo, and surprisingly it doesn’t default to orange here.

Pokdepinion: I was never a fan of the Call of Duty franchise, but Black Ops 4 is a pretty amazing game. While I can’t say it is the most original game, it is a very fun one! And the fact that you can get matching ASUS hardware to play them on is just so cool…
