The new gaming monitor is the first model in the all-new ROG Strix XG series of monitors, with gamers in mind. It features ASUS’ exclusive Extreme Low Motion Blur and Adaptive-Sync (Free Sync) without any tearing or stuttering. With the Extreme Low Motion Blur, it eliminates smearing and motion blur, making objects in motion look sharper. While with the Adaptive-Sync, it delivers some of the best gaming visuals by eliminating screen tearing and sloppy frame rates, as well as reducing display stutter and input lag. So you’ll gain an advantage against your opponents (well unless they use it too!)

Its gaming design also presents onboard ASUS Aura RGB lighting and a customizable light signature which allows a lightning display on the surface below the monitor.

The STRIX XG27VQ continues the tradition of ROG design with its tripod stand. With ASUS Aura RGB lighting at the back, it offers several lighting modes to give you ‘style’. Additionally, it features a unique light that lets you customize light projections. Included are two ROG logo covers and one blank cover that you can customize with a marker to create your own unique lighting projections to your desktop surface and gaming area.

Besides that, they have also included ASUS GamePlus hotkey for in-game enhancement. The crosshair overlay provides four different crosshair options. There is a timer (for your gaming time) and an FPS counter, to know how smoothly your game is running.

Also available is ASUS DisplayWidget Software. It’s a utility that let users tweak settings or configure ASUS GameVisual, AppSync, and Blue Light Filter. These can be adjusted by the on-screen display menu or  the navigational joystick and buttons. There are seven different display modes at your disposal which includes; MOBA, RTS/RPG, FPS, sRGB, Racing, and Cinema.

STRIX XG27VQ is now available for purchase and retails at RM2234. The monitor comes with a 3-year warranty, with a 1-to-1 swap.
