Boost Makan Is The Latest Food Ordering Platform To Come Out
The folks at Boost has recently introduced a new food ordering platform in the form of Boost Makan where they’ve said brings their businesses online “without the hassle of complicated backend system and expensive fees”.
Boost Makan
The platform is open to all F&B merchants who want to shift their business online using a platform they are already familiar with. This includes cafes, restaurants, home businesses, hawkers, food court stalls, and food trucks.
They’ve said that merchants can enjoy a low transaction fees, third-party delivery partners, and fast payment settlements within two working days.
You can access Boost Makan from the Boost eWallet app, where you can browse for food (of course) for order. This in turn means that changes made on the merchant’s side through the Boost Biz app will be reflected instantly on the customer’s side.
There are four order fulfillment methods merchants can choose from on the platform. This includes delivery with a 20km coverage radius, pick-up, in-store contactless orders for walk-ins and drive-thru. Delivery and pick-up methods allow customers to set their expected delivery time or preferred pick-up time respectively. As for the drive-thru method allows customers to provide their vehicle number together with their order, which allows the merchants to identify customer’s cars and have food sent directly to them upon arrival.
From now till the 31st of December 2021, new and existing F&B merchants will receive RM50 merchant incentive upon registering with Boost Makan. For more details on what’s offered, you may head to the link right here.

Pokdepinion: When I see a new food delivery platform, the first thing that comes to mind is their riders. Let’s hope that they have enough to cater to all the orders.
